Scouts,
Autumn in the Village is on Sept. 11th.
We will be participating in the parade, running a dunking booth, and emptying the can collection barrels for the 5 cent deposits.
We will meet on Summer St. at 10:30am for the parade, parade starts at 11:00am. Wear your class "A" uniform for the parade.
We will start running the dunking booth after the parade until 5:00. Scouts will take turns from the dunking booth to collect cans. Please let me know when you can help out.
Reminder: Our first meeting will be on Sept. 13th.
Thanks Mr.DeWinde |

I am pleased to announce Ray Donohue has accepted the position of Scoutmaster for Troop 174 Livonia. Steve DeWinde after serving in that position since, well it seems forever will move to the position of Committee Chair. Gary Stauber will become first Assistant Scoutmaster working with Ray. These changes become effective with the next charter, but Steve and myself will be working with the new leadership to provide a seamless transition. In the next several months there will be more changes as Ray works with the Troop Committee to fill the empty committee positions. As always if you are interested in getting involved, just ask!
Please help and welcome Ray and Gary in their new adventure and remember; "It's only an hour a week........ per boy!"
Sincerely yours,
Tom Brown |

Gary Stauber

The schedule for Popcorn in the Park is available here: Schedule If you have a conflict or need to switch nights please let me know. We're light on coverage for a couple nights......it's best if we could have at least 4 scouts and 3 parents a night. Also if Mr. Hosie could have a bit more help on the night of the 3rd that would be great. Remember.....Bring a hat, get to the park by 5 (I think we said by 4 for the night of the 3rd), Class B or red shirt and have fun!!!
There are still scouts that need to sign up for a night; watch your email for details |
